Which isn't a knock against the franchise, it's just that we kind of love Gears of War for the co-op action it provides. And the over the top characters. In this short gameplay demo of Gears of War 4, our heroes JD, Del, Kait and Marcus Fenix are in pursuit of creatures called the Swarm. With their village destroyed and Kait’s mom abducted, the squad gives chase through the wilds of Sera and must battle through an incredible storm.

Gears of War 4 is out this October, and as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program will also be made available on Windows 10. With Xbox One cross-play too.
