"In a world without cell phones and computers, one man must lead his tribe against the forces of darkness." Or something like that. Anyway, in this new story-focused trailer we get to see Far Cry Primal's main caveman, Takkar, as he takes on the burden of leading his tribe in a world where saber-tooth tigers and giant mammoths roam the, err, place. Actually this is a pretty good look at the character, animals, and action we can expect to see in the game. Which is due pretty soon.
The video does open with a look at some ceremonial eyebal soup drinking, so it's nowhere near as light as this write-up makes it sound. It's all very serious, and suitably epic in scope.
On the other hand if you enjoy your caveman to be fun, easy going dudes who could easily fit into the fast moving world of modern day 1990s Encino, then this might be more your cup of tea.
Far Cry Primal is out February 23 for PS4 and Xbox One, and March 1 for PC. Rad Mobile first hit the arcades in January, 1991.
doesn't interest me at all. pretty much all ubisoft games look boring to me nowadays and it's primarily because they stick to the same template and mechanics for each game.
If you want to see the first 20 minutes or so of the game and listen to a REALLY funny guy narrating his experience as you go then check out Cartoonz youtube channel.
He was flown to LA recently and allowed to record the footage by Ubisoft, BUT it's his hilarious accent and voice dialogue that makes it so funny, especially his impromtu Rap at the end..
I always thought the guy was an African American by his voice style but then I saw footage of him in another review and he's a white guy!, who just sounds like a hilarious black guy. Love his stuff.
