A new trailer for Assassin's Creed: Unity was released today by Ubisoft that showcases strange things afoot beyond your French Revolution playground.

The trailer was released with no information other than its title "Time Anomalies" and runs for just a short amount of time, but we can gather you're not in Kansas anymore when all's said and done.

Check it out below and judge for yourself, but if this thing holds true as an actual integral piece of the game's narrative, the series could be in for a huge shift in momentum.
