With EA dropping the surprise re-release of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 6 with the Nintendo Switch version to follow on November 13. The release coincides with the tenth anniversary of Criterion Games classic cop chase entry in the long-running series.

Outside of the copious live-action stuff, the following announcement trailer showcases the improved visuals and that classic Hot Pursuit gameplay that more often than not ends up with a cinematic and stylish crash.



The remaster includes the popular online aspects of the original (with cross-platform sync for the Autolog system) in addition to improved textures, reflections, more particles, new car colors, wraps, an updated photo mode, and quality of life improvements. In terms of performance Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered supports 4K/60fps on PC, 4K/30fps or 1080p/60fps on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, and 1080p/30fps docked or 720p/30fps in handheld mode on the Nintendo Switch.
