Nintendo has lifted the lid on an impressive batch of Nintendo 64-era classics coming to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library. These are actual N64 games running on Nintendo Switch hardware with some added functionality. As per the headline Rare’s GoldenEye 007 from 1997 is coming, one of the most iconic shooters from the era.

And a game that became the first great FPS title for consoles. Nintendo confirms that it will support Online Play which is very cool. And Nintendo also plans to bring a pair of Pokémon Stadium titles, the first few Mario Party games, Pilotwings 64, 1080° Snowboarding, and Excitebike 64 to the Nintendo 64 library on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library.

The only issue is that they’ll be released gradually, over the course of 2022 and 2023, which seems a little glacial considering we’re talking about N64 games that are simply being emulated.

Here’s the full list:

Pilotwings 64 - 2022
Mario Party - 2022
Mario Party 2 - 2022
Mario Party 3 - 2023
Pokémon Stadium - 2023
Pokémon Stadium 2 - 2023
1080° Snowboarding - 2023
Excitebike 64 - 2023
GoldenEye 007 - Coming Soon

Still, some absolute classics here. Pilotwings 64 is an underrated gem, and 1080° Snowboarding is a brilliant racer with physics and handling that still holds up today.
