Following last week's announcement and cinematic teaser trailer, Netherealm studios has now offered a look at in-game action in Mortal Kombat X, the appropriately-titled 10th game in the long-running violent fighting game series.

The clip shows off the obligatory Scorpion versus Sub Zero rivalry, as well as a beat up between two newcomers, a wirey woman with insect wings, and a strange blade-adorned little girl and brutish hulk duo. Watch the clip from Sony's presser embedded below.

Mortal Kombat X is in the works for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 for 2015.

I hope they release it on PC at the same time as console launch! Looks super awesome fantastic. Shame the vid was a bit s***** quality.

Now we all know what it takes to kill someone, a mere spear into the eye socket is just a scratch! And loosing your internal organs is only a minor set-back, be sure to snap the spine to actually kill.
