Yeah, we didn't even consider that one. It's almost like Techland is updating and supporting for shits and giggles now. And while we've had multiple points of confirmation that support for the original Dying Light would continue into the new dawn alongside Dying Light 2, we just sort of never thought we'd be seeing stuff like this.
And by "this" we mean a full Dieselpunk DLC, which is included in patch 1.49 (incidentally this also upgrades all Standard Edition copies of the game to Enhanced, and for free). Here's what you get:
Chainsaw — Gut Render (bleeding effect, destroying enemies' armor, high chance for critical damage)
SMG — Greaser
Saw blade — Flesh Ripper (medium bleeding effect)
New Outfit — Punk'd Beret
New buggy skin — Rugged Roadster (50% slower fuel usage)
In addition to new DLC and an upgrade from Standard to Enhanced, Dying Light: Hellraid also gets some love, with the update fixing bugs, tweaking gameplay and systems while also introducing the only firearm in the experience, the Deathbringer -- a double barrel shotgun.
It's awesome to see the original game still being supported, and with new actual content to boot.
