Ubisoft have announced PowerUp Heroes, a "full-body combat game" in the works exclusively for Kinect on Xbox 360. The game is in the works at Montreal-based Longtail Studios, who's past highlights include Dance on Broadway and Grays Anatomy: The Video Game, so take from that what you will. Despite an incredibly cheesy live-action start the trailer, the game itself looks colourful and potentially fun.
The universe is in peril, and it’s up to you to annihilate the forces of evil in PowerUP Heroes. Turn your Xbox 360 avatar into a powerful superhero and face off in the ultimate cosmic showdown. Obliterate your enemy and seize their super suit and abilities to use in your next battle, like the mighty Necromancer suit which allows you to control a horde of skeletons, or the Mentalist suit to break into your enemy’s mind. PowerUP Heroes is the ultimate super power-infused full-body fighting game for Kinect.
At least it's not the same studio that brought us Ubisoft's dismal Kinect launch title; Fighters Uncaged.
