Monster Hunter World from Capcom represents one of the first big games of 2018. And with the series making its debut on current gen systems for the first time, this is definitely the most visually impressive entry so far. With the game getting an day January 26 release for PS4 and Xbox One, we've now got word that a PC version is also in the works.

As per the headline the word 'future' is the best way to describe the planned PC release for Monster Hunter World. Due sometime 'Fall 2018' this equates to a late 2018 release for PC players - which is a shame.

But, on the plus side another Beta is planned for PS4 players prior to release and is scheduled to kick off on the weekend following January 18. Sadly, Xbox fans will have to wait until launch to get their Monster Hunter fix.

And speaking of fix, Capcom plans to support the title with post-launch content, as highlighted by the new Elder Dragons trailer below.
