I must say i got a bucketload of play time out of black ops but i'm still on the fence for this one..I am a fan of the arcadey run and gun just get in and shoot the s*** type of gameplay though.

I wouldn't be a true FPSer if I didn't hate on CoD while secretly playing it...
What can I say, it's a guilty pleasure of mine.

lol. You skipped COD MW2 and Blops which most people agree is where the series started going downhill. I expect that pattern to continue.

Planes and choppers are virtually useless until you get some unlocks in them, which is hard as hell at the best of times.

Bulls***, you would be a true FPSer if you didn't buy it because you realised it's the same f*****g game with a few more weapons and other little things.. it's an expansion. It's really frustrating to watch them release more content which looks exactly the same and be able to pass it off as a new game and people still buy it which lets them get away with it.
CoD 1 was awesome, CoD 2 was s***, CoD 3 was s***... MW was great, mw2... yer we all know, blackops... yer we all know.. this? more of the same.
2/6 for me = failure of a series.

It's more of an old school deathmatch UT style, rather than the structured, teamfighting of BF.
Not to mention I still think the gunplay feels great. Not realistic in any way, but it FEELS good.
Hell, even in MW2 it felt pretty good. I'm having worse issues with rego in BF3 than I was in any of the MW series -_- Stupid ass client side rego...

That said, I do disagree with the comments that MW3 amounts to an expansion pack. Although the core game and tech is staying much the same it really does seem like IW and Sledgehammer are adding enough new tweaks and improvements to other areas that make it more than just an expansion.
