Techland has announced a new update for the PC version of parkour zombie-killing title Dying Light that will restore the previously stamped out user-created mods, a response that was made in light of recent cheating in Be the Zombie mode. The update not only offers modders a chance to change the game's content, but also brings a variety of other fixes to the game.

The update will be free to all owners on the PC platform, of which the developer has previously stated is just the beginning of future free updates like the promised Hard Mode. Check out the patch notes below:

  • Resolved extremely low resolution textures on certain objects regardless of texture quality settings
