Baseball fans eager to get their hands on the PlayStation exclusive MLB 14 The Show will be happy to hear that Sony has confirmed a May 6th date for PlayStation 4, a month after its PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita counterpart.
Whether it’s the suspense of a full count, or the thrill of a home run. From the meticulously crafted stadiums and players, to details as fine as a single blade of grass. There are new ways to play and new ways to interact and share with the greater community — we have so much to show you. And not just in terms of how we’ve expanded and improved the game, but also the ways in which we’re leveraging new technologies.
A new PlayStation Blog has also been released, detailing exactly what you can expect from the new gen version, including somewhat detailed beard hair and glove mitts. Further details on how the dev team are simplifying add=on purchases to new Community Challenges are also awaiting your perusal alongside a handful of screenshots comparing the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions.

MBL 14 The Show will be available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita come April 1st, with the PlayStation 4 version launching May 6th.
