Minecraft for the current-gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will include bigger worlds comapred to their past-gen counterparts on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, however it will not feature the same infinite worlds that appear on the original PC version, developer 4J Studios has revealed.

In a post on Twitter, 4J Studios - who handle development of the console versions - stated that the limited amount of save file space on the consoles are proving difficult, resulting in world size restrictions. While they may not be as infinite as the PC version, 4J has noted that they will be much larger than on previous-gen consoles.
In the same Twitter conversation 4J also revealed that the developer has been playing around with the DualShock 4 touchpad, stating that it is at this time being used to navigate the game's user interface.

Minecraft for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One are expected to arrive sometime this year.
