After hearing about the Xbox One version of popular sandbox title Minecraft coming tomorrow, it seems PlayStation 4 fans didn't have to wait too much longer with their new-gen version popping up on the
PlayStation Store in the wee hours of the morning today.
Like its
Xbox One counterpart, the new version will offer far more map size compared to past-gen versions, as well as your typical skin add-on packs. Not much more has been given as to the difference from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4, however like the Xbox One version players who own the PlayStation 3 version can upgrade at a simple cost of $6.50, while those purchasing for the first time will get hit with a $19.75 price tag.
Minecraft is now available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One (come Friday). A PlayStation Vita version is planned however has been pushed back due to certification issues.
