Japanese indie studio Comcept has released some new gameplay footage of Mighty No. 9, the crowdfunded platformer being helmed by Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune that looks more and more like a Mega Man game every time we see it.
The latest gameplay footage (thanks Polygon) offers a glimpse at some of the main character Beck's transformations, that (just like Mega Man) he obtains by vanquishing bosses and becomes imbued with their abilities, as well as some of the first gameplay of Call, the female counterpart character that was introduced as a crowdfunding stretch goal.
Mighty No. 9 is still reportedly on track for launch in April 2015 on PC, with Mac, Linux, and console platforms also said to be in the works.
