With the Microsoft Store Sydney teaming up with ASUS Republic of Gamers to host weekly League of Legends tournaments, running from September 2 until November 25. The competition comes to Microsoft Store locations across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia with registration now open.

You'll need an active League of Legends account to participate. But, it's also open to everyone, so if you get in early enough you should be able to just walk in, take a seat, and showcase your sweet MOBA skills. No word on what prizes might be up for grabs but as Microsoft is partnering with ASUS Republic of Gamers and HyperX, we're assuming some awesome gaming gear in addition to in-game rewards.

Gamers will play League Unlocked, a premium experience made available for official League of Legends partners and live events. In League Unlocked, all champions and over 100 skins will be – you guessed it – unlocked for the duration of the event, and players can earn an extra 20 percent IP and 50 percent XP for their personal accounts.

Speaking of ASUS, the action will take place on ROG G752VS gaming laptops. Which we are currently in the process of reviewing here at AusGamers. Spoiler alert, they're awesome.
