After a lengthy briefing on the state of play with
Xbox and
Windows PC,
Microsoft this morning gave up a list of new games coming to both console and PC via its successful and game-changing
Game Pass initiative.
On the console side,
Alvastia Chronicles -- an 8-bit JRPG throwback and the utterly brilliant
Journey to the Savage Planet -- a
Metroid Prime-inspired co-op jaunt through a
Paul Verhoven-esque live action pop-up narrative. While on the PC side of things, the aforementioned Alvastia Chronicles is joined by
Football Manager 2020 -- the latest entry in the long running 'excel spreadsheet' game of soccer management,
MISTOVER -- a stylish roguelike with cute art and
Stranger Things 3: The Game -- an 80s/90s-styled arcade beat 'em up, obviously inspired by the popular
Netflix series.
With most of us forced to work from home, now's never been a better time to looking into a gaming subscription service.
