Microsoft has unveiled a new Xbox One wired controller for use on the PC, essentially replacing their previous Xbox 360 wired controller that many PC gamers utilised outside of the FPS genre.

The aptly-named Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows launches in November 2014 and works with Windows 7 and Windows 8. Microsoft called it the best PC controller it's ever made, the "culmination of over 200 prototypes".

It plugs into any available USB slot and updates automatically. It also works with your Xbox One as well, either wirelessly or with the cable. Of course, you can always use a wireless Xbox One controller with your PC, now the drivers are available.

No price tag has yet been announced for Australia ($59.95 in the US), but we should expect something shortly.
