With the publisher taking over the Microsft Theater situated across the street from the from the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Where it will, "let fans in on what we’re up to in 2018 and beyond in a fresh new way". Where the fresh probably means Mixer and live-streaming for a number of announcements. The key word though is 'beyond'.

One of the main points of concern that most have with the recent addition of the Xbox One X is no real idea what big exclusive titles Microsoft plans to bring to the Xbox One platform. It won't be long before we have Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 in our hands so the questions then become game titles followed by question marks.

Halo? Gears? Fable? Forza? Some new IP? With the answer probably being a yes to all four. With Microsoft being fairly quiet on the game announcement side of things for quite a while now, E3 2018 is shaping up to be a major milestone in the Xbox 2018 calendar. Doubly so when you factor in that the other big hardware players like Sony and Nintendo regularly hold other conferences both digital or convention-based to showcase and announce new titles.

The Xbox E3 2018 Briefing is scheduled to take place on June 10, 2018 at 1PM PT (or 6.00am AEST on June 11).
