Not that the title to this post should be construed as a bad thing, rather that you should take it as an indication that once you "Suit Up", as EA is telling us to, you're going to be strapped in for one heck of a rollercoaster ride.

But as PC lovechild and FPS hero, Bennett "GunSlingerAUS" Ring learns through his Crysis 3 review duties, there's only so many explosions a man can take. Even one suited up in a piece of nano amazement. Crysis 3 does a lot right, including catering the game more towards the PC strengths of Crytek and their roots, but it forgets to take a breath every once in a while.

nice review.
liked how the storey progressed from 1 & 2, i thoroughly enjoyed; prophet is a ledgend but would have been nice if it was a little longer, and the closing cinematic bit looks very familiar ;) (not after the credits)
like crysis 1 & 2 it always starts with killing humans for the first half then aliens for the second. would be good if they mixed it up a bit more.

I'm keen to try this one. Farcry 3 bored me to tears.

Picked this up for like $40 bucks and have only just started but so far the visuals are incredible - yet kinda stupidly system taxing.

Gameplay is more of the same so far - but I loved Crysis2 - so I'm not complaining.

Its runs alright on HIGH on my system. Gameplay is alright but the story is...crap. Its nothing special so far into the game. The first level has issues because http://www.kotaku.com.au/2013/02/ah-so-thats-why-crysis-3s-first-level-is-so-terribly-slow/

I have yet to try multiplayer but I assume its the usual standard multplay FPS but with a nano suit. I liked Crysis 1 of the entire series.

Certainly a good informative review.
FYI - a lot of older SLI rigs are having troubles; like my twin GTX560 Ti SOCs but it runs very well with SLI disabled and lower detail settings.
I really think Direct X 11 has never been so pretty - great eye candy. BF3 is utterly different.
The game is intense, hard and the AI really works well. Personally I have avoided stealth - it is just too easy.
I think anyone would be seriously missing out if they didn't play this - one of the best FPSs ever.

I just got this, bollocks about the PC melting business, it runs fine on my laptop without looking like minecraft.

Had a couple of crashes though, one on PC and one on the laptop. Usually when I smash commands at it in rapid succession (like opening the weapon customize menu and hitting a number before the menu shows up, then closing the menu again like I used to in crysis 1)
