And that headline is basically all we have to go on for now. But holy frozen hell, we'll take it! Metroid Prime was an E3 or two away from becoming Half Life 3, and in all honesty this was the first E3 where I was leaning towards there being a close to 0% chance that we'd get a Metroid Prime announcement. And so, we did.

With no game footage, artwork, or Samus, all we got was a familiar Metroid Prime musical cue, a logo, and that text that we've all been waiting for -- "Metroid Prime 4 Now in Development for Nintendo Switch".



And it's not a joke or prank.

Pinch me, I must be dreaming.

Now, here's hoping it's a 2018 release!

"First look". WTF? It's a bloody logo. This has to be the worst title announcement in terms of hype in a long time.
