Kicking off the first world premier for Geoff Keighley's Game Awards show is Kojima Productions Los Angeles' Metal Gear Online, a brand-new multiplayer component taking place within the Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain universe.

A debut trailer was showcased during the event, which you can check out below. With a variety of skins to choose from including Snake himself, players will conduct both discrete and full-force actions as they take down the opposing team. You'll get access to all kinds of weaponry from the main series, including a mountable robot minigun.

More information will be revealed at a later date, with an expected 2015 release. The online counterpart will be available with any purchase of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
