As promised Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, offering a tidy vignette of each of the game's primary characters.

Grand Theft Auto V will be offering all three of these chaps as playable characters via a new gameplay mechanic that allows players to interchange between them as they go about their business in the suburbs of Los Santos.
Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V is the largest and most ambitious title in the series to date. Set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and the surrounding area, Grand Theft Auto V delivers a world of unprecedented scale and detail bursting with life, from mountaintops to the depths of the ocean.
Watch the trailer below.

Grand Theft Auto V is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17th 2013.

Michael reminds me of that Aussie actor from Strike Back and Gangster Squad.

I'm so hoping for a PC version close to the initial launch, just looks too good and can't wait to see all the enhancement mods on it. Also looks like they'll have some more interesting technology, you can see the police officers in the car that gets smashed jump out just before impact, always loved that stuff in GTA IV.

Looks like more of the same scripted stuff. I'll probably play the s*** out of it, but offering three playable characters is hardly a game-changer for the series.

I'm not getting this until it comes out on PC, I still haven't played Red Dead Redemption yet and I have both a 360 and a PS3!

Meanwhile I'll be giving Sim City, one of the most infamous games of all time, a 9.4.

If you can't see how adding three protagonists to a GTA game isn't going to be awesome and fix some of the problems suffered by all the previous games then I guess I'll just have to keep ignoring your ahem.... 'reviews'.

The ONLY problem with 3 was the narrative. Which includes the entire story element and the whole 'hey cousin come pick me up and we'll go check out big american titays'.

I felt nothing for the main character, he was lucky to have whatever shred of happiness he found in america and didn't deserve it. And i like illegal immigrants. He was just a boring character surrounded by boring people in a magical world of fun and adventure somehow made dull.

I still sunk 70 hours in it.

It looks absolutely fantastic. I'm still playing IV on XBOX.
