October 25 to be exact, which is when the 1990s PlayStation classic comes to PlayStation 4 sporting new revamped visuals and several improvements. The MediEvil series is fondly remembered by many for its atmosphere, comic presentation, and stylised visuals. Which makes it a perfect candidate for a full remake taking advantage of more powerful hardware.

Here's the new trailer.

The beloved fan-favorite has been completely remade from the grave up, blending classic gameplay with stunning visuals, all in eye-popping 4K!

Step into the bones of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly-inept (and long dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his greatest enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok. With a second chance to foil his greatest foe, Dan will once again set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn his place as a true hero.

In addition to the visual makeover, which looks fantastic, the late-90s camera system is getting updated alongside the inclusion of a new narrator and several in-game additions that Sony wants fans of the series and newcomers alike to discover.
