BioWare's acclaimed sci-fi RPG Mass Effect 3 is among the launch titles on the brand new Wii U, releasing today in North American, and November 30th in Europe and Australia, when the console launches here.

Omega, the next downloadable content expansion, offering several new hours of single-player action is due to arrive on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 27th worldwide, however Wii U players will reportedly be missing out (via VG247):
Via a conversation with another Twitter user, when asked if the Omega DLC would be released on Wii U November 27 alongside the other versions, the reply was: “Unfortunately it will not be available for Wii U.”

When asked if any other DLC for the game would be released for Wii U besides what is included on the disc, the rely was “never say never.”

The account also said there wasn’t anything to “announce at this time,” regarding the release of Mass Effect 1 and 2 for Wii U.
The first batch of screenshots from Omega can be found on our Mass Effect 3 game page.
