As a part of PlayStation Studios, PC veterans Nixxes Software are handling development for the PC versions of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The first game is due on August 12 and today we got an update on what players can expect to find. And yeah, it's sounding very cool.

Built from the enhanced PlayStation 5 versions of the Spidey games, PC Spider-Man is set to take full advantage of modern hardware for performance and high-fidelity visuals. On the high end, the PC versions will feature higher-quality ray-traced reflections - which can be seen in the video below. Which will arrive alongside higher quality settings for SSAO, texture filtering, LoD quality, shadows, and more.

Check it out.

And yep, there's also ultrawide 21:9 support, the massive panoramic 32:9 aspect ratio, and even NVIDIA Surround multi-display options for a full view of the city. And for those rocking a GeForce RTX GPU there's NVIDIA DLSS support to improve performance alongside the ability to play with an uncapped frame rate. And for those with a GeForce RTX 3080 or something in that realm, NVIDIA DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) will also be there.

Head here for the full hardware requirements for the PC Spidey games.

In terms of controls, the games will support PlayStation DualSense wireless controllers in addition to other controllers and even mouse and keyboard input. And finally, achievement and cloud save support across Steam and the Epic Games Store.

There's no doubt Marvel’s Spider-Man is a brilliant game, so for those that pre-order they'll get an early unlock for three Spider-Man suits (Iron Spider, Spider-Punk, and Velocity Suit), as well as the Spider-Drone and five extra skill points to spend on upgrades.
