After the excellent Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC port that brought all of the web-slinging, ray-tracing, and comic book action with support for high-end displays and tech like NVIDIA DLSS (check out our review here) comes word that the in-universe spin-off Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is set to launch for PC on November 18, 2022.
And here's an epic trailer showcasing the sorts of PC features to expect. What's interesting is that the game will be upping the ray-tracing support to include both ray-traced reflections and brand-new ray-traced shadows "for outdoor light cast by the sun and the moon". Which will enhance the immersion of swinging through New York.
As per the trailer, and to coincide with the new GeForce RTX 40 Series launch (the RTX 4090 is here now, and the RTX 4080 will arrive in time for the game's release), Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC will support new DLSS 3 rendering and NVIDIA Reflex to minimise latency. Also, ultra-wide and unlocked frame-rates will be there, alongside many customisation options. So many that ol' Joab will be able to play Miles Morales whilst on the can - on his Steam Deck. For Aussies, be sure to check out our new feature - How to Buy a Steam Deck in Australia (and what not to do).
Here's a look at the hardware you'll need across the game's many quality and resolution settings.
