After the stellar debut of Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man in 2018 (which we adored) it looks like we're getting an alternate universe sequel with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales coming Holiday 2020 for PlayStation 5. And with the console yet to get an exact release date we're assuming this is a day-one launch title.

Check out the announcement trailer.

In terms of gameplay the trailer is fairly light, but we do get a glimpse of the snowy winter setting - and some flashes of web-swinging. With the PlayStation 5's super-fast SSD storage it would have been cool to see all of the city detail in one continuous shot. The original on PlayStation 4 is still impressive to watch (and play), so we can't wait to see more of this one.

Arriving two-years after the first game it'll be interesting to see if this is a full-sized release or something of a smaller spin-off - using the same setting but updated for PS5. Creating a AAA experience in that sort of timeframe, on new console hardware, is ambitious to say the least.
