And then opening up to other platforms over the space of a few weeks - starting August 7 on PlayStation 4 for those who have pre-ordered the game. Full details on the timings and platforms for the Marvel's Avengers beta after the jump, but what you wont find is exactly what to expect once you fire it up.

For that we'll have to wait until the next Marvel’s Avengers War Table digital stream that is set to premiere on July 30 at 3am AEST. In addition to outlining the beta content, more info on the game's overall design is expected.

And now, onto the beta dates.

August 7 - August 9 - The beta begins for PlayStation 4 owners who have pre-ordered the game.

August 14 - August 16 - The PlayStation 4 open beta kicks off for all PS4 players. During this time those that pre-ordered on Xbox One and PC will also get access.

August 21 - August 23 - Marvel's Avengers beta for everyone.

Naturally the above dates and windows will need to be adjusted for local AEST times. As to what to expect, in lieu of official details we're hoping that both co-op missions and single-player story stuff is included.
