The latest entry in the Mario Kart series has reportedly sold more than 2 million copies worldwide, according to the latest report from Nintendo of America.
The number was revealed during the company's 74th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Japan late last night, where the company also re-elected current CEO Satoru Iwata. The numbers are looking great for the Wii U though, with the title already becoming the console's fastest selling game to date since its launch on May 29th for Japan and May 30th for America, Europe and Australia.
Not only is Mario Kart 8 the fastest selling title for the Wii U, but it has also garnered "the strongest review scores in franchise history," according to the company.

Yeah the Wife and I were playing it last night managed to get two gold trophies in a row! unlocked Ludwig and Roy! It literally came down to the last corner of the last track and I still tied for first with a CPU lucky otherwise my controller would of gone through something superman style!
That's the next part, I can't find anything clear how you obtain the three stars, most sites say you can't get hit, can't fall off the track and have to win by a fair margin, that on 150CC is impossible!
