Punchy promotional trailers filmed with live actors are becoming an increasingly popular marketing tool among games publishers, and as THQ's Metro: Last Light rep shared with us recently, their impressive live action effort really helped "put the IP very much on the map", beyond it's pre-existing audience of fans from the first game and the Metro novels.

Some of these shorts are getting some serious budgets to play with, and today we have a couple of new looks at the production of some more of these, with behind the scenes documentary videos of the making of Assassin's Creed 3's "Rise", and Total War: Rome II's "Face of Rome" trailers having been released by Ubisoft and SEGA respectively.
