And by classic we mean that Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine was created in the latter part of the '90s in a direct response to the popularity of the Tomb Raider franchise - which itself was inspired by the Indiana Jones films. Originally released for PC and Nintendo 64, this long-lost game is finally back and available to own digitally thanks to GOG.com.

Where it's available now for the low price of $8.19 AUD.

The year is 1947. The Nazis have been crushed, the Cold War has begun and Soviet agents are sniffing around the ruins of the fabled Tower of Babel. What are they up to? The CIA recruits renowned archeologist and adventurer, Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones, to find out. Grab your whip and fedora and join Indy in an epic globe-spanning race in search of the mysterious "Infernal Machine."

Naturally as we're talking about 1999, the dated-3D visuals may not hold up all that well today and the gameplay itself will feel a little stiff - especially for fans of 2003's Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb.
