Described as a "metal album presented through a two-hour-long story-driven game", Of Bird and Cage is an interesting spin on narrative-first gaming, that still employs agency and decision-making that impacts the overall experience. It also features a number of known musos from the world of metal, heavy rock and operatic production.

Slated for release on Steam May 20 (where you can also grab a demo), the game from developer Caprica Productions is, at the very least, ambitious:
