Surprise hit Lords of the Fallen is shaping up to be an exceptionally good action RPG, even if it sometimes feels familiar. For those who are enjoying the game, you'll be happy to hear that a campaign expansion has been confirmed by developers Deck13 and CI Games, titled "Ancient Labyrinth" and scheduled for a release this year.

Ancient Labyrinth ties in directly with the main game, taking players to a new location called "The Library," which is reached via a locked door found in the main game. This expansion also introduces a puzzle-based mechanic, and pits players against a new magical being who changes his powers mid-battle. New weapons, armors, and NPC-based side quests are also rolled into this upcoming experience.

A price for the expansion has not-yet-been confirmed, though we'll definitely know more soon enough and will have the article reflecting that.
