Following Assassin's Creed 3's recent announcement, Ubisoft have now outlined the Australia/New Zealand specific details for the obligatory Collector's Editions of the game, packing in the usual figurines, trinkets, art books and somewhat less-enticing bonus in-game content.
The boxed retail game will come in four varieties, the vanilla game (presumably sans any day one DLC), a "Special Edition" with an exclusive single player mission, the "Join or Die Edition" with a couple of trinkets, one singleplayer mission and one multiplayer package and "The Freedom Edition" with a 24cm figurine, a lithograph, steel case, detailed info book and what seems to be the most complete version of the actual game with two additional singleplayer missions and an extra multiplayer package.
Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars.

If you're not the pre-order type however, we still have something for you today with this new trailer that takes a closer look at the tools of Connor's (or Ratohnhaké:ton if you prefer your names less pronounceable) trade. Watch it below or click here for the HD video page.
It's actually highly annoying to have single player missions to separate editions of the game. I think this is why it's probably best waiting for a deluxe or full edition of the whole game, none of this bulls***.
More important than any of this extra crap is that they go back to the roots of the game and go back to the simplified version where you didn't need complex combinations of ingredients to make stupid bombs that were difficult to aim, and ziplines that just ruined it.
In other words: Take the AC2 UI and control system and don't f*** with it.
