LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is being described as the most expansive and detailed LEGO game to date. And with it covering all nine movies in the mainline Star Wars saga it certainly sounds like it. And judging by this new six-minute trailer-meets-game play-overview, it's shaping up to be one of the must-play games for 2022.
That is if you're a fan of The Wars... or simply dig the LEGO games and their focus on fun and humour.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker is out April 5, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As per the in-depth look above the story mode will let you jump into any of the three trilogies to begin your adventure, which also looks to up the interactivity and depth of mechanics from previous LEGO titles with impressive third-person action. Not only that but you'll also be able to explore various planets, find secrets, unlock countless playable characters, and engage in a bunch of fun Star Wars mini-games and side-quests. Yeah, there's a lot here and it all looks awesome.
Plus, you'll get to fly a LEGO Millennium Falcon, TIE fighters, X-wing, and more. And in a very cool nod to older LEGO games there will be the option to play the story in 'Mumble Mode' -- which replaces character voices with... mumbles.
