And lookit, we're not ragging on anyone's studded chord, but these trailers featuring a news team reporting on the things you can do in the game do dabble on the shoulder of cringe, but hey, it's LEGO and there is a brand mandate in terms of its representation (BIG fan of LEGO Masters), so we can forgive its cheesiness.

So, with that disclaimer out of the way, here's a fresh, new look at LEGO 2K Drive.

As has been shared around the traps, this latest LEGO outing is a LEGO spin on the Forza Horizon model, albeit one with more unique challenges and a clear lean into the breakable and buildable (definitely a word) aspect of LEGO as a whole.

The game is being developed by Visual Concepts which is a bit of a flex for the studio given its remit is normally NBA 2K and WWE 2K, so it's great to see a talented team given a different brand and a different lead.

LEGO 2K Drive will be available from May 19 on essentially every core platform. Stay tuned for more as it becomes available.
