Riot Games has revealed in a post on the official website that their hugely popular free-to-play MOBA League of Legends will be hosting its Season 4 World Championships in South Korea.

Considered to be the center of eSports and "home to some of the most devoted fans on the planet," Riot Games believes that with the deep eSports heritage South Korea would be the perfect location for their next season championships.

"South Korea is widely considered to be a center of eSports and is home to some of the most devoted fans on the planet. With a deep esports heritage, this is an ideal location to follow up the largest eSports event to date and showcase the top League of Legends players. At the World Championship, they'll battle it out for the title of world's best."

Though before League of Legends stars battle it out in South Korea they'll be heading to Europe to compete in the 2014 All-Star games, an event that puts the best of the best against each other. No dates are currently set in place for either venues.
