As we edge ever close to Destiny's much anticipated launch date, Activision and Bungie have released another new promotional trailer, this time offering a look at the game's environments set on the planet Venus.

Much like the game's post-alien invasion Earth, Bungie's depiction of Venus looks quite a bit different than if you were to visit there today, terraformed vegetation and all. A brief description explains that in the game's lore, the planet was "once the site of a great discovery – a paradise. Now, it is a monument to all that we have lost".

Destiny is due to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 9th 2014.
