Mostly affecting those with rigs powerful enough to run the game at 'Ultra' settings, the first substantial patch for Battlefield 1 seems to be affecting performance in a negative way. In that certain effects and filters seem to be broken with the visuals looking more 'Medium' than 'Ultra'. Naturally, this has left quite the sour taste in some players mouths, as this lengthy forum thread covers.

As per a forum moderator DICE are now aware of the issue and looking to resolve it as quick as possible.
