Kirby and the Forgotten Land was announced earlier today as part of the latest Nintendo Direct presentation and it's a full-3D adventure starring the pink ball of puff-ness. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that it's set in a vibrant post-apocalyptic world "filled with abandoned structures from a past civilisation". Including escalators and shopping centres.
Giving it a The Last of Us vibe, albeit pure Nintendo. As a 3D platformer it's also set to take advantage of Kirby's copy abilities as seen throughout many a Kirby game over the years. Check it out.
In this new unforgettable 3D platforming adventure, Kirby explores a mysterious world full of abandoned structures from a past civilization. What surprises await the pink puffball?
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is on track for an Autumn 2022 launch in Australia.
