Guerrilla Games has unveiled the first batch of new details for their upcoming multiplayer portion of next-gen PlayStation 4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall.
Revealed on the game's official website, the biggest feature that players will notice is that Shadow Fall's multiplayer will feature 22 guns at your disposal, with no additional unlocks or requirements needed to gain access to this arsenal of weaponry.
The weapon count isn't the only large number for multiplayer, with 19 different weapon attachments also featured in the game modes, all unlocked by completing specific challenges. The usual enhancements include scopes to new ammo types to secondary fire options.
Single-player elements will also make a debut in the multiplayer, including "the cover system that allows you to snap in to/lean out of/vault over cover, as well as the sliding mechanic." According to the new blog post the melee system has also been expanded upon, allowing players a drop-down melee mechanics for some stealthy gameplay.
Customising Warzones will also be featured in Shadow Fall, with eight missions modes available on launch (four of which will be new). Players looking to change all the gritty details will be able to do so until their heart's content, with the ability to share the custom-created experiences with the community.
