Another high profile crowdfunding venture is starting to bear fruit, with the release of a teaser trailer for Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure. Originally pitched as Project Fedora, The Telsa Effect is a revival of the classic noire comedy adventure series with live actors.
Building on a history of over 20 years of pioneering game design, Tesla Effect is set to redefine expectations of what is possible in a game. By taking full advantage of technological advancements in both gaming and film production, Tesla Effect will deliver a truly cinematic gaming experience that will leave you speechless.
The Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign came to a close in June 2012, raising US$598,104 from 6963 backers.

Tesla Effect is expected to launch in Spring 2013 (Northern Fall) on PC and Mac, with Android also in the works. Watch the teaser trailer below and head over to texmurphy.com for more information.
