While we begin the slow countdown until this year's E3 and the hopeful announcement of the PlayStation 4 pricing and release date, Late Night host Jimmy Fallon was able to get a hands on experience with upcoming next-gen title Killzone: Shadow Fall.

While Fallon isn't the greatest of console players - as seen by his funny but incapable way of killing enemies which includes shooting a wall - the playthrough shows a new look at the initial gameplay we saw at Sony's PS4 announcement, and definitely puts to bed rumours of it only being a pre-rendered demo.

You can check out the clip below which also features managing director and co-founder of Guerrilla Games Hermen Hulst plus comedian Anthony Anderson who also gets his hands on the demo.

this game looks awesome, but god damn, even if you're pro on consoles, it still looks so gumby. The AI looks dumb as f*** too.

While I generally don't like Jimmy Fallon, I like that hes always getting video game people on his show, I wanna see more of that! I mean, talk shows will interview directors and musicians and actors, why not game designers/developers?
