Sometimes it's a good thing when a review is not all that relevant, but instead a snapshot that highlights a version of a game that existed at this one specific moment in time. For Iron Harvest, a game we enjoyed, we felt that it had more than its fair share of issues outside of things like bugs. After one year in the trenches the RTS has seen so many updates that the Iron Harvest Complete Edition trailer spends most of its time going through them all.

Alongside making our initial review something of an incomplete story. So yeah, even though the game is headed to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, alongside kicking off a Year Two that is set to bring a new 'Worldmap' game mode that has shades of Risk, we get a very cool highlight reel of what's come to the game in the past year.

This new instalment of the critically acclaimed RTS “Iron Harvest” contains the previously released “Rusviet Revolution” DLC and the “Operation Eagle” add-on and will be accompanied with a new update that brings a new multiplayer map, a new buildable defensive structure, quality of life enhancements and a lot of tweaks and adjustments to the beloved squad based RTS.

The Iron Harvest Complete Edition will include:
  • 4 Factions with 4 unique campaigns
  • 12 playable Heroes
  • 18 Multiplayer Maps
  • Over 30 Missions
  • Side-by-side coop
  • The complete PC experience redefined and optimised for consoles

Iron Harvest Complete Edition is set to launch October 26 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC players will of course get all the updates in a patch. Although we got glimpses of console gameplay in the trailer we're keen to see how it'll work with controller in hand. Here's hoping it supports mouse and keyboard input too.
