Which is to say the game has been updated to take advantage of the more impressive power of the PS4 Pro. And in case you're not in the know, The Mage's Tale is part of The Bard's Tale series and sits in between The Bard's Tale III: Thief of Fate and the forthcoming The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut for PS4.

Here's a full (quick) breakdown of what this update offers for the PSVR title:
  • Higher resolution textures

  • Supersampling enabled

  • Higher quality particle systems

  • Added 3dRudder Support

  • Added additional button information for Resetting Camera and Player Position

A larger question revolves around where the PSVR's future lies given the gradual drop off in VR in general, though it's still regarded the best entry point for VR across the board and boasts a significant library of titles.

We'll likely know more once Sony reveals their platform plans around PS5 and more in the not-too-distant future.
