If you're a PC gamer who's never touched a console game before, but you've also always wanted to play Gears of War, Inversion might be for you.

It's impossible to ignore the comparisons, from the third-person cover mechanics to the "me too" game engine Saber Interactive created in-house, Inversion screams "we love Gears of War". That isn't to say the game doesn't offer its own unique components though, as gravity is big on the gameplay pile here, and while it's not nearly as capitalised on as it should have been, fans of this type of game might find something fun here.

Was looking forward to this but after reading the review and seeing it is online co-op only I won't be picking it up.
