While PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users have been enjoying their DLC shenanigans in the DC Comic fighter Injustice: God Among Us, Wii U users have had to sit by the sidelines, waiting for the day they'll be able to play one of the new roster additions. Luckily, that wait is now over with a new patch making its way to the Nintendo console bringing all the past DLC with it.
Developer NetherRealm Studios has updated the game with a new patch, putting it at version 1.1.0, and existing DLC is now available for purchase in the eShop after almost two and half months since its launch. In
early May the studio stated that the DLC would be making its way to the Wii U, however no date was set.
The DLC includes the four new additions to the roster: Lobo, Batgirl, Scorpion and General Zod, with each one costing $4.99. Currently the Season Pass - which offers a 25% discount over purchasing each character individually - is not listed on the eShop, and not known whether it will be showing up.
Costume DLC is also now available on the Wii U including the Joker's quite touching tropical vacation garb which was the outfit worn in the graphic novel. The costume packs range from $0.99 through to $3.99. Sadly no online lobby system has yet been added to the game, however hopefully it is still in the works for those craving the online multiplayer.
