According to reports originating from a Chinese forum and a subsequent video, it looks as though Infinity Blade is a Kinect title coming to Xbox One in China.

The confirmation comes via two forum posts – one at A9VG, and the other at NeoGAF – both of which point to the latest TCG event as its source. According to the posts, there's a demo of the game – which is now called Infinity Blade Saga, or in the East, Infinity Blade of Destiny – which is playable on Xbox One with Kinect. That said, Kinect isn't the only way to control the action, and those who choose to play with a controller, can.

It's also said that Infinity Blade Saga has almost all the stages and areas from the past three iOS titles, albeit with a more guided storyline.

Elsewhere, the post says Infinity Blade Saga is being published by Tencent, who has history in the free-to-play market. It's possible then that this title could potentially follow in the publisher's free-to-play footsteps.

Incidentally, Tencent's latest outing was the China-exclusive Call of Duty Online. Providing it's approved by the Chinese government, Infinity Blade Saga is expected to ship sometime before the Chinese Lunar New Year.
