Taking place in a "parallel reality", INDUSTRIA is a story-driven first-person shooter with both Half-Life and Atomic Heart vibes. Which means, it's got our full and undivided attention. From indie studio Bleakmill and publisher Headup, INDUSTRIA is on track for release some time next year. Hit the jump for the trailer.
On the evening of the fall of the Berlin wall, a young woman plunges headlong into a parallel dimension to find her missing work colleague who has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. While the checkpoints in East Berlin are still being overrun by crowds of people, Nora escapes from this world, into unknown layers of time and into an unknown fate.
As per above the game begins in the real-world before the protagonist travels to a strange dimension. In he trailer we get to see all sorts of weirdness, from levitation to what look like walking robotic autonomous defensive machines. According to the developers the game will offer around four hours of pure narrative-driven gameplay - pointing to a tight, scripted experience. That also happens to look impressive running on Unreal Engine.
